All About Exhibition

Running Films Productions Inc.'s first exhibition, EX-PON-TE, took place in a local café, Tostado, on March 15, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The  Photography Association at the University of the Sacred Heart joined this project to support and promote the art of students in Puerto Rico. Cyber promotions from participants and the general public were the main reasons for the successful outcome of the event. The jury was composed of: the professional photographer Nitza Luna, who is also the Dean of Photography at the University of the Sacred Heart, Giovan Cordero who is a recognized commercial photographer, and Efrain Cruz who is dedicated to directing and editing photography. It was a difficult task for the judges to select only 36 photographs and 17 photographers, as there were a large number of participants and over 300 photographs.

The main motivation for Running Films Productions Inc. to create this exhibition was to support youth art; to show that there are still people who support the arts. For the company, it was a way of contributing something positive to the society we live in and it was a way to influence young people to stay in school, make beautiful art and to inspire new generations. Running Films Productions has a vision to foster a deeper culture on art in our society.

We are currently planning EX-PON-TE II and this new exhibition will include local and international short films.
